Why I Don't Fear My Death

It seems like as humans we are frequently trained in the notion of self-preservation and to fear our death. Having some fear makes sense, it keeps us restrained and helps us avoid death. Yet I do not live a life of fear or worry, even while I try to use commonsense and avoid dangerous situations.

There are many dangerous things out there in the world one can fear. Yet, there is no certainty that such dangers are going to kill you. Indeed, many of the most inane things may actually lead to your downfall or death. Taking reasonable safety steps may prolong your life, but ultimately it can not save you from death.

I don't loose a lot of sleep at night fearing the fact that someday may never come in my own life. I realize mistakes are made everyday, and one of them might be fatal. Yet, I don't live my life in fear. and hope as I work for a better tomorrow, not just for my mortal self but for society that will live much longer then I will.
