Leaving on a Jet Plane

Tommorow at 11 AM will be the first time I've ever boarded a plane in my adult life. I've never ridden since September 11th, and I am quite nervous. Not about dangers of a terrorist attack or plane accident, but just getting everything right and through security.

I guess I've been through security at the state capitol or city hall many times. Yet, this unknown, and the regulations seem much more stringent. I am trying to get everything right, but I also don't want to be turned away when I get to the gate, or get in trouble.

I have no idea what it's like on the plane, how smooth the ride is or how obnoxious it is stay in the plane will be. Or what layovers will be like or anything else. It's scary, it's such a new experience for me.

Regardless, I look forward to going to Arizona and seeing such a different place and my grandmother. I learn how to live with going through such security to get where I need to go.
