Civil Liberties for Bin Laden?

Wartime is the time we need civil liberties and rights the most in our country. Part of being a democracy is the ability to peacefully dissent from what the government is doing, and try to peacefully bring around change.

Bending the rules because of wartime is rediculous. If we have to go to a facist system to beat the Taliban, that is worthless. We have become them, if we turn away from freedom, and become fascists like them.

Hell, while are at it doing away with freedom, we should save some money. Just give the Taliban control of the Whitehouse and other Washington buildings. The end results will be the same.

Bin Laden wants to hurt us. And he's winning. No question about it. Taking away freedom is a win for Bin Laden. You might not care about such minor little details involving Civil Liberties and Rights, but they are the progression to the hate and the totalirian regime of the Taliban.

We need to work hard to protect America. Every American should be able to live his life not having to worry about terrorist attacks, or the loss of civil liberties. We already have enough to worry about ÐÐ big bussiness, a polluted enviroment, corruption, scandel, and so many other problems that plague our society today.

We live in a consititutional republic. That means government powers are to be limited, and they must follow the requirements of their consitution. The executive branch is not suppost to be totalrian dictartor, like our current President is becoming.
