What Can't You Do With Your Quad? Advertising on a fine website like New York Cowboy is a company called Amazing ATV Machinery that sells more neat little toys for your quad then you can imagine.

After all who needs a tractor when you can do all this stuff with your quad? Seriously though, while I've seen a lot of things in the past, they have a very extensive collection of toys that I've never seen before.

Admittedly, an ATV is not a tractor by any means when it comes to power or capacity. But for those with a small farm (ie. a big backyard with some goats or horses grazing), these toys are a less expensive way to get work done.

I would encourage you to visit their site, and help pay for New York Cowboy. P'Link

Turn the USDA Into Dept of Rural Affairs? Hillary seems to think we'd be better off renamed the US Department of Agriculture to the Department of Rural Affairs, to more accurately reflect the social functions that the agency preforms today.

In many ways that makes a lot of sense. While farm subsidies and helping farmers is a key part of this department, the reality is at least for dollars spent, and probably even staff, far more money goes to help people besides farmers living in rural areas.

Not that such a thing is surprising, as only a minority of rural people are farmers, and even fewer get government checks for crop subsidies. Far more people are in need of the various programs that help elevate rural poverty, and make rural America a little bit better of a place to live. P'Link
