Cutting Off a Federal Homeland Security Officer. Coming off the expressway this morning, I accidentally cut off a Homeland Security truck. While I didn't get into an accident or get a ticket, I have to wonder how much that will raise my administrative index or whatever the Bush administration calls it these days. P'Link
Today is Spitzer Party at My House. I want to thank you for all that have RSVP'd and those of you still come want to come. The tarps we had fell down in the wind yesterday, and it's purty wet out back, but we will still get things together.
It looks like several people have RSVP'd or said that they are likely to come so it should be a lot of fun. It's good to bring more awareness of Clean Money, Clean Elections, and how we really need a governor that does all the good things that Mario did and then some. P'Link
Spitzer House Party. I want to thank y'all who stopped by on Tuesday afternoon for the Spitzer-Patterson Clean Money, Clean Elections House Party. It was enjoyable and we raised some money for Spitzer and Patterson, and encouraged some more awareness of the issues surrounding campaign finance. P'Link
Two Months To Plattsburgh. Actually less then that until I return back to college at Plattsburgh State for my second and last semester in the North Country. Pretty amazing that I might be finishing up my Bachelor's degree next spring—less then a year from now.
I love the North Country. There is a lot of great people up there, and a lot of beautiful open space and people who don't live in the city. Some people say the country up there is boring and flat, but once you go to places like Point Au Roche or see how people struggle on farms outside of Chattegay, you just fall in love.
I can't wait until the day when I put my camping gear and clothes and head up North in my pickup. I will do lots of good this year in races up there, particularly making sure that Andy Brockaway is the next Assemblyman up there, and whatever I can do to help out DFA in Burlington. P'Link
Grown Up Somewhat. It's very fascinating to look at this very blog some 3 years ago, by using the WayBack machine. Open it up in tabs and compare it to the current blog.
I was much different back then, yet I was still myself. Somehow being a working adult is different then being a 20-year old college student. I had much longer hair back then, and was a bit more conservative if not a tad bit radical at the same time. P'Link
