Taking Some Time Off From Work, Busy Volunteering for the Party.

That the reason why I haven't had much of a chance to blog today, as I haven't spent much time near a computer, at least not-one with internet. Instead, I've been helping out doing a variety of things that need to get done for the party.

I enjoy getting a break from the usual work routine. The free meals and snacks are great, although one can only consume so much toxic high fructose corn syrup and still enjoy it. It's not a real vacation away from people, but at least I get out of the office, and away from staring at a computer for endless hours.

Rode both to party headquarters and back home. It was a nice little bike ride, with reasonable temperature both ways. Tonight I need to ride my bike to the store to pick up a few little things—nothing major, maybe $15 in various supplies like toothpaste.

Moon is quite nice out there tonight.

I am still planning to get out camping this weekend, regardless of how hot and humid it might be or how stormy it will be. I need to get away, and there is no way I'm spending another weekend in the big city.

Getting Out of Here.

I'm going to be heading out a few minutes for a nice camping weekend. It's increadibly humid out there, but what can one do about it.

I've been overspending a bit in the past few weeks, but so be it. My latest over spending thing was I bought a white-gas lattern, to use when camping. It was $70, but I figure I can use it for a long time.

Then there was the $50 fill up in gas today. That only bought a little over 11 gallons of gas for $50. That is so sad. Prices do seem to be going down.

I get to try out my new EZ-Pass today. I'm so excited to be able to zoom through traffic for the first time as I head west !

Now it's time for that Billy Stewart song...
