It is a beautiful morning out there, and I started out the morning bright and early with a little WGNA and a dip in the swimming hole. There's nothing quite like a refreshing dip in the water bright and early.
So I was barreling down Route 9J south of Shodack Landing around 55 MPH. The road is purty narrow, and then there's a curve sign suggesting you should back off to 30 MPH. I being Mr. Cowboy simply ignored that sign.
There was those two tight S-curves that go under rail road bridges. It was pretty tough to keep the truck on the road at excess of 40 MPH (I was braking hard), especially with the road being wet and a car in the other lane.
So I learned my lession. I might be a good driver, but those curve warning signs should be taken seriously if your not all that familiar with the road your driving. 40 MPH might be okay for 30 MPH curve, but not 50 MPH.
