I woke up this morning to go to class and I noticed I had ripped a contact lens. That is particularly not cool if your contacts are in your pickup truck parked a 1/2 mile away and your bike has a flat tire. Not to mention that, I have a horrible cold that is just making me more and more sick.
I always am somewhat sick in college, as there is so much stress and so many unhealthy people so close together. Getting out of the city and getting some fresh air helps, and once I get yet another bike tube for my bike for another $4.35 I will be somewhat more happy.
That my pickup truck is still working good, despite my dog being dead and my bike having yet another flat tire. I am pretty tired, as it has been a long week, and lately I have not been getting the kind of sleep I really should be getting.
Unfortunately the dog that so famously was on my Facebook picture and my biography page, Quinne Pig, that great border collie died suddenly of pancratic cancer. I will miss her a lot, as she was a trusted friend, and always liked riding up in the cab of my pickup truck.
She apparently was sick on Tuesday morning, and my parents took her to the vet. They told them she had pancratic cancer and didn't have long to live. She died that night. I was home the previous weekend, and took her for a nice long walk up to Partidge Run and for a ride in my truck, so at least I had some time with her before she died.
