They are talking about snow showers on Saturday, particularly in the hilltowns. Then again, it's November, and the weather is starting to feel that way.
I'm ready for some snow. We get so little of it nowadays, despite the fact it can be a lot of fun, and we are so dependent on it. I can remember tromping through the deep snow in November in some of those early winter storms we sometimes get.
Last night was the DFA Victory Party over at the 1199 building in Albany. It was great fun, and we certainly has some races to celebrate over, and some that didn't turn out quite as well as we hoped. But we tried hard.
I'm glad the elections are over. It's time to take a break for canvasing and all the hard work electioneering. Big game season (in the Southern Zone) opens on not this Saturday but the following Saturday, so in a week from now expect some bang-bang. Archery season has been in session for several weeks now.
