Bike Riding Into Work. It was relatively quick 7 mile ride from my apartment to my office in the Alfred E Smith Building. I really didn't mind riding on Delaware Ave, and was surpised how relatively light the traffic was at 8:30 in the morning.
My average speed was 14.3 MPH, including time stopped at traffic lights. That's not much under the speed of what cars move on Delaware Ave in the City. It took me about a little more then half hour to get to work, including time to park the bike and about 5 minutes at town hall picking up various permits and papers.
I was to work earlier then had I taken the 8:30-ish bus from my apartment to work. So I'm happy. P'Link
