Introduction
Fixed bike up, after spending much of yesterday afternoon and this morning lubercating siezed chain and other things. Felt it was time for a nice long bike ride, enjoying the freedom and speed that the bike gives me. Left at 7:30 PM, returned at 9 PM. Went from house to 'South Westerlo: Slow' sign, via. Route 404/Basic Resivour to Route 401.
Experience
Passed several farms. Saw a rabbit in open field near Westerlo Centeral Cementary. Saw doe near Resivour (seen it there the past couple of nights). Flew by on bike—gave interesting different experience. Several people out enjoying the nice weather. Smelled horses, several people burning trash (pew), noticed a couple of campfires. Lady looking for her dog. Sun set early due to clouds, so not particularly pretty.
Amazed
The bike really took me from place to place much faster then hiking. It gave an interesting different perspective, and I continue to go much farther and to different places on future bike trips.
