I'm done with Renselearville SF for a while—I swear. It's not all that interesting, and face it, it's in the boondocks. The roads around there are beautiful, but that's for driving and not hiking—and even those get old.
Hiked part of the Motor Vehicle trail off of C.C.C. Road (the part after the turn that goes steeply down the hill. Nothing too surpising, but I wanted to finish the gap I missed—maybe that that the anwser to the peace and freedom of man kind—well, not really, but it was worth a try.
Drove to Partridge Run, and parked at Fawn Lake. Busy place on a Saturday. Hiked towards White Birch Pond, then down to the stream bank. Hiked back up along stream bank. Interesting little falls. Sat up on the dam, absorbed some of that nice warm sun, and did a bit of reading.
Drove to Tubbs Pond. Hiked along trail to the east of the pond, eventually out to fields near the parking area on Beaver Road.
