It's been a hot weekend, but other then that pretty much a lazy weekend. Been hanging out in the woods, doing lots of reading, sleeping, and just being lazy.
Both nights it has rained, which is less then fun. It's cloudy and humid today, and I still haven't decided if I will go home today or stay here a bit longer. I'm thinking about heading home—there just isn't a great deal of reason to stay and enjoy the damp cloudy weather.
Honestly though, Saturday was quite nice. I like having an excuse not to do anything for once and a while. It gets annoying always to have a place to go to and a thing to do.
Fixed my gas stove. It was easy. I just needed to realize that I had to turn the pump a full circle around for it to properly pressurize when pumping. Now it works just as well as it did when I first got it. I feel so stupid spending so much time struggling to get that dumb thing to work.
I also bought a white-gas/gasoline powered lattern that seemed to work well, then stopped working at full brightness. I need to experiment with it more today.
There was another family camping out there, but they where far enough away I couldn't really here them. A few squerrels and other animals, but not much else to see. Beautiful, but hot weather saturday, cloudy today.
